SightLine Applications Announces Newest Software Release
May 04, 2010, Hood River, OR – SightLine Applications LLC today announced the latest release of
the SLA-1000, an On-board Video Stabilization & Target Tracking System. New features in the 2.0 release include
video enhancement modes that bring out difficult-to-see details in the source video, while simultaneously
suppressing video noise. Video enhancement applications include low-light imaging, resolving objects hidden by fog
or shadows, and denoising of EO and IR video.
Continued improvements in frame-to-frame registration allow for greater video stabilization in rotation. Robust target tracking enables hands-free tracking of high-value targets such as vehicles or people for minutes at a time, even when target is temporarily obscured – for example when a vehicle travels under an overpass or behind trees.
